"Suffolk police yesterday identified a North Amityville man slain Friday night as Kwesi Amissah, 27, shot multiple times in front of a crowd of people outside a North Amityville Masonic lodge, but said they still didn't have a suspect in the shooting.

No one among the estimated 20 to 30 witnesses of the killing and neighbors of the Hollywood Lodge, a Masonic social club, have come forward with information, and cops continue to struggle to find the shooter without the public's cooperation, police said yesterday.

"There's not a lot of help from the community," said Sgt. Paul Dodorico.

The 6-foot, 200-pound man was found lying along the side of Rosewood Avenue across from the lodge around 11:35 p.m. Friday with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, according to police.

Cops found no signs of a struggle or a fistfight before the unknown assailant killed Amissah. Police would not say how close the shooter was to the victim.[...]

An autopsy performed Saturday determined that Amissah didn't have alcohol or drugs in his system when he was shot, Dodorico said yesterday.

Police believe Amissah walked a half-mile from his Brewster Lane home to the lodge, and at some point went inside, although a man answering the phone at the lodge disputed that fact on Saturday.

The windowless Masonic lodge sits on the corner of Coolidge and Rosewood avenues in the heart of a busy neighborhood.[...]

A previous post mentioned that Mormonism was founded as a Masonic cult. That caused some controversy amnong Mormon readers. In fact, Joseph Smith used many Masonic rituals as the basis of hsi new Church. Many Masons were upset with this, but Mromonism and Masonry seemed to acheived a quiet rapprochment in the years after Smith's death. Here are some details on Mormonic and Masonic ritual.

From Chapter 13 of The Mormon Kingdom Vol. 1:

" The relationship between the Mormon Temple ritual and Masonry is too close to be called a coincidence. The fact that both Mormons and Masons have a temple in which they administer secret ceremonies is striking, but when we compare the ritual and learn that Joseph Smith was a Mason, we are forced to the conclusion that Joseph Smith borrowed from Masonry in establishing his Temple ceremony.

In this study we have had access to two books which give the Masonic ritual. They were reprinted by Ezra A. Cook Publications, Inc., Chicago, Illinois. The first is Capt. William Morgan's Freemasonry Exposed which was first published in 1827. (It should be remembered that the author of this book disappeared and that this set off the great controversy concerning Masonry.) The second is Richardson's Monitor of Free-Masonry. This book was published some time after Morgan's expose, but it is important because it gives some of "the higher degrees" not mentioned by Morgan.

The following are some of the parallels between the ritual of the Masons and the Mormon Temple ceremony. Because some of the details of the Temple ceremony have been changed in recent years, we are using the pamphlet, Temple Mormonism—Its Evolution, Ritual and Meaning, New York, 1931, to make our comparison.

1. Both the Masons and the Mormons have what is called "the five points of fellowship."
2. When the candidate receives "The First Token of the Aaronic Priesthood" he makes a promise similar to the oath taken in the "First Degree" of the Masonic ritual.
3. In both ceremonies the thumb is drawn across the throat to show the penalty.
4. Those who receive the "First Token of the Aaronic Priesthood" give a grip that is similar to that used by the Masons in the "First Degree" of their ritual.
5. Some of the wording concerning the "grip" is similar.
6. The oath of the "Second Token of the Aaronic Priesthood" is similar to that taken in the second degree of Masonry.
7. Both have a similar sign.
8. Both have a similar grip.
9. In both cases a "name" is used.
10. The promise made when receiving the "First Token of the Melchizedek Priesthood" resembles the oath given by the Masons in the third or "Master Mason's Degree."
11. The sign of the penalty is similar in both cases. (The description of this sign which appears in Temple Mormonism is not completely accurate; therefore, we are using the account that appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune. The reader can see that this is the way the sign is given today. See page 131 of The Mormon Kingdom Vol. 1.)
12. In both cases a "name" is used.
13. The conversation at the "veil" in the Temple ceremony is very similar to that of the "Fellow Craft Mason" when he is questioned concerning the "grip."
14. Both the Masons and the Mormons have a vow regarding "chastity."
15. The grip known as "The Sign of the Nail" seems to be similar to one given by Masons in one of their higher degrees.
16. The "Oath of Vengeance" which used to be used in the Mormon Temple ceremony resembles an oath in one of the higher degrees of Masonry.
17. Both Mormons and Masons change clothing before going through their rituals.
18. Both Mormons and Masons use an apron.
19. In one of the higher degrees the Masons anoint the candidate. This is somewhat similar to the anointing ceremony in the Mormon Temple ritual.
20. Both Mormons and Masons give what they call a "new name" to the candidate.
21. In the Mormon Temple ceremony the candidate cannot pass through the veil until he has as given certain signs and words. In the Royal Arch Degree the Masons use veils.
22. In the Mormon Temple ceremony a man represents Adam. The Masons also have a man who personates Adam in the degree of "Knight of the Sun."
23. In the Mormon Temple ceremony a man represents God. In the Mason's Royal Arch Degree a man "personates the Deity."
24. Both the Mormons and the Masons consider the square and the compass to be extremely important. The marks of the square and the compass appear on the Mormon Temple garments and on the veil.
25. In the Masonic ritual the point of the compass is pressed against the left breast of the candidate. The Mormon temple garment has the mark of the compass on the left breast.
26. The angle of the square is pressed against the right breast in the Masonic ritual. The mark of the square appears on the right breast of the Mormon Temple garment.
27. A mallet is used by both the Masons and the Mormons in their ceremonies.

A couple of weeks ago a Physics professor at Brigham Young University authored a paper proving the quite obvious fact that the World Trade Center was destroyed via a controlled demolition.

Founded by a Masonic cult and firmly affixed to the federal teat, the BYU administration has posted a nastygram to the tenured professor on the website for its engineering school:

Brigham Young University has a policy of academic freedom that supports the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge and ideas. Through the academic process, ideas should be advanced, challenged, and debated by peer-review in credible venues. The University is aware that Professor Steven Jones's hypotheses and interpretations of evidence regarding the collapse of World Trade Center buildings are being questioned by a number of scholars and practitioners, including many of BYU's own faculty members. Professor Jones's department and college administrators are not convinced that his analyses and hypotheses have been submitted to relevant scientific venues that would ensure rigorous technical peer review. The structural engineering faculty in the Fulton College of Engineering and Technology do not support the hypotheses of Professor Jones.

Ottawa Citizen August 28, 2005:

"A Jewish group has filed a complaint to the University of Ottawa against one of its professors after the discovery of content on his website that blames Jews for the terrorist attacks on the United States, and claims the numbers who died at Auschwitz are exaggerated.

"The website, www.globalresearch.ca, also reprints articles from other writers that accuse Jews of controlling the U.S. media and masterminding the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Other postings suggest Israel, the U.S. and Britain are the real perpetrators of the recent attacks on London.

"The site, which is not hosted by the university, is run by Michel Chossudovsky, a controversial left-leaning economist, and came to the attention of B'nai Brith Canada after public complaints to the advocacy group and the Citizen.

""The material on the site is full of wild conspiracy theories that go so far as to accuse Israel, America and Britain of being behind the recent terrorist bombings in London," said Frank Dimant, executive vice-president of B'nai Brith Canada."

A caller on the Matt Drudge radio show Sunday night said that the Art Bell show had said last night that the russians would nuke us aug 17. Sure enough the website coasttocoastam.com says he had a guy named Nyquist on Saturday night who's flogging a story on his website now that Russia and the alleged "Al Qaeda" are about to nuke us. Nyquist doesn't back up this conspiracy theory, but he does spend a lot of electrons haranguing on about how evil "conspiracy theories" are.

Art Bell has been roundly critizized online as a Masonic disinformation operative. So is this interview just so much noise, like a typical Bell broadcast? Or is Clearchannel trying to lay the psychological basis for World War IV as plans for Wednesday move forward? Interestingly, Bell has been pushed to the weekend shift on his own show, and a truthseeker named George Noory hosts weeknights. Noory featured a good interview with Jones on the Byrnes/nuke drill matter last week.

RIGHT: From "Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry" by Albert Pike . . . to the "Free As a Bird" video[, by George Harrison]

Employing the several referenced and unreferenced sources, as well as rigorous application of Maybe Logic, the following is a most essential and most likely chronology of the death of James Paul McCartney and resultant fallout:

California, 1965.
Beatles spend several days tripping on LSD with Terry Melcher at his house. McCartney does not partake. The boys give him a bit of a hard time about it. Paul is, however, smoking prodigious amounts of cannabis, a habit the Beatles and he particularly have taken to since being introduced to the herb by Bob Dylan a year ago. [Regular consumption of the medicinal herb would also serve to largely neutralize any psychotronic harrassment.]

Melcher drops a bomb on the boys in the midst of these days of drugbonding. Some heavy information. His mother, Doris Day, isn't Doris Day at all! Day hasn't been around [she died/was put away in an institution] for eight or nine years! His stepfather and some shady characters he's involved with have been produced a double who has been starring in films successfully for years. The studios are getting tons of money from this number-one box office draw. Her leading men have all been compromised (homo)sexually or otherwise. All were all rewarded handsomely -- "To appear with Doris Day could make your career."

And out of all this, Terry gets this sweet pad, a guaranteed "in" in show business, and all the drugs he wants with no real hassle from LAPD. Attendant with this set-up are women too, of course. [Possibly particularly eager-to-please women from wherever Doris II came from...]

Paul was an admirer of Aleister Crowley (later pictured in the funeral scene cover of SGt. Pepper's), a British intelligence agent founding father of Hollywood occultism. Crowley also"laid the groundwork for the scientific study of mysticism and altered consciousness." He was rather frank in this study and thus had a history publishing its secrets.

Paul, hearing of the story of DORIS DAY, seems to have had a similar idea. The Beatles should, not unlike Crowley, reveal this mystery to the masses. This would evolve the thinking of the masses by revealing the occultic manipulation they were being subjected to. Paul was of ill health and had never wanted to be a professional musician for his entire life anyway. Why not slide away quietly and take a breather by having someone take his place for a while?

Their contract with EMI was up, they could do anything they wanted to creatively. Sign with a record label in the States and Paul could work with the boys in the studio and send a double out to do a movie. (Maybe even an American tour -- no passports or customs to deal with.) Then, the big revelation. Or maybe hold off a little longer, find a double for one of the other Beatles. There are different options. Tomorrow never knows.

It would not be an impossible task to find such a double; the group had some ready to divert the attention of the media and crazed fans while on tour. One who seemed particulary amenable to this idea they had met while playing in the Toronto andDetroit area, a member of the Canadian military who also had an affintiy for musicianship.

It was a rather brilliant plan. The band negotiated two one-album deals with EMI while they ran around the globe trying to get a new record deal from which to build on Paul's concept. Some songs on those albums telegraphed some of their intentions: "Paperback Writer," "Think For Yourself," "You Won't See Me," "Tomorrow Never Knows." Even the title of the second album, 'Revolver,' was a hint.

Whatever the legitmacy of Crowley's perceived rebellion against the occult establishment, the organized occultism that had emerged from his geographic milieu in Southern California, specifically the Agape Lodge of Ordo Templis Orientis, was by 1966 largely integrated into the international occult establishment. Melcher was a manifestation of this organization the whole time, and The Beatles' secret plan was not as secret as they may have thought.

Organized Illuminism was not happy with this plan. They had their own plans that decade for alchemical transformation of the mass psyche. The Apollo program's stagecraft was still on the agenda.

Revealing to the masses they were being manipulated decidedly was not.

An attempt to co-opt the independent-minded Beatles by drawing them into the occultic/Satanic "Process Church of Final Judgement" cult in London fails. (But indications are that the Rolling Stones, or at least Mick Jagger, joined up. His girlfriend appeared in a Process magazine and he composed music for Lucifer Rising, a film starring an actress prominent in the cult.)

Finally, a hit was ordered on Paul McCartney.

September 1966.

After the new record deal was finally completed, Paul and Beatles manager Brian Epstein returned to Britain and were almost immediately set upon and killed. Part of an intricately compartmentalized operation, the assassins likely were anti-communist Americans, convinced the Beatles were at the vanguard of a communist plot to undermine America's youth. Two organizations associated with propaganda linked the Beatles to the Commies were the KKK and/or the FBI, both organizations controlled by Scottish Rite Freemasonry, itself under the control of Illuminati for more than hundred years, since at least the time of Albert Pike.

Paul was killed for disloyalty, in accordance with ritual prescribed by the ninth degree of Scottish Rite Freemasonry. His head was severed.

Paul's body was eventually found decapitated, near a car. The commanding officer on the scene for Scotland Yard, also controlled by the Scottish Rite, recognized the Masonic handicraft on sight and moved to cover it up. Thus he immediately put out a cover story that McCartney had died in a car wreck.

But that cover story was quickly revoked under the order of higher-ups and the entire incident was hushed up and disappeared down the memory hole.

The intelligence agencies and EMI are told to cover-up the death, for the sake of would-be-suicidal Beatlemaniac fans, and convince the Beatles to replace Paul with a double. But the agencies make clear that part of the deal is the switch must remain a secret under pain of death. (The lesson is soon driven home with Guinness heir Tara Browne's 'accident'.)

Lennon [with the counsel of his new friend Yoko Ono] and George and Ringo ultimately decide to accept the offer as the only way to carry out Paul's plan, spread his message of love, and honor his memory. The public funeral given Paul was the cover of the Sgt. Pepper's album, with the cardboard cut-outs the guests and the drumskin containing a mirror-printed epitaph "IONE IX ^ HE DIE" designed by a pseudonymous man named "Ephgrave." BEATLES as part of the deal had negotiated unprecedented budgets and creative freedom (other than the caveat of maintaining the fiction that Paul is alive) from EMI. And they will need it to pull the charade off.

But the real Paul, being dead, can no longer eventually unveil the charade and reveal to the masses the brainwashing they're under. So Lennon et al., under the black cloud of the death threat, will have to play a dangerous game in order to get the message across. They will have to place into the albums clues that can get through the EMI execs yet reach the fans with the message.

But after the Pepper LP, and the Magical Mystery Tour EP and film, it is evident the message had not gotten across. Despite rumors circulating among the British fanbase, the faux "PAUL" is largely accepted as Paul by the masses, and the doppelganger increasingly enjoys the role life has given to him. Guinness heir and McCartney friend Tara Browne [and possibly others] had already been killed to keep this secret, a rather open secret among much of the British and music establishments. BEATLES feel increasingly trapped.

They attempted to lay out the story in a 1968 "Doll's House" concept album, but the effort was smashed by higher-ups who saw the allusion to Ibsen as too obvious. The project evolves into The BEATLES ("White Album") as Lennon et al continue to put clues in their songs.

Meanwhile, that rat-bastard Melcher is working on the cryptocracy's Charles Manson operation in order to discredit the pro-peace counterculture, as well as the Beatles and Lennon. Manson was in touch with the Process Church when he moved to Southern California from the San Francisco area. Manson described Melcher as "a touch" whenever he and his 'family' -- that odd collection of misfits largely composed of other government mind-control subjects and informants -- was short on funds. Maury Terry reports Manson regularly used Terry Melcher's credit cards. Manson's programmers based at the China Lake naval base and elsewhere had given Manson the subliminal suggestions to rechristen Susan Atkins as "Sadie." The christening seemed prescient when "The BEATLES" was released the next year.

By the time The BEATLES ('White Album') is nearing completion, Lennon spends days on LSD putting together a mosaic of clues on the White Album's poster and, having by now drawn the connection made between Paul's execution and the Ninth Degree of Scottish Rite Freemasonry, in Revolution #9. (Lennon refered to Edgar Allan Poe's being kicked to death by Masonic assassins in his impressionistic LSD-fueled recollection of the discovery of James Paul's body, "I Am The Walrus.")

After "The BEATLES" album is released, "the Manson family" takes it to heart, just as programmed by their mind-masters in the cryptocracy. Two key figures at the scene of Tate-La Bianca murders were Tex Watson and Sadie Atkins, who displayed symptoms of being mind control subjects. (Another, Bobby Beausoleil, starred in and like Mick Jagger contributed music to the aforementoined Process Church film, Lucifer Rising.) The first attacks, in which killed Sharon Tate, her unborn child, and four others were killed, the "piggies" were even stabbed with forks and knives. Atkins and Beausoleil, with others in the "family," were manipulated to appear at the grisly crime scene [though the slaying were carried out by professinals], and may have been hypnotically implanted with memories of committing the acts.

And in a pointed message to Lennon et al., the murders took place at Terry Melcher's residence (leased by manipulator Melcher to Tate and her husband Roman Polanski), the very spot Paul came up with the plan to reveal to the world what Harrison would later characterize as "the space between ourselves and the people who hide behind the walls of illusion.".

So not only was the peace-commune counterculture weakened in this psy-op murder campaign; but so were the Beatles, Lennon, and ultimately anyone who would look for a "hidden" message in the Beatles' work. The corrupt go-along-to-get-along Los Angeles DA Vincent Bugliosi picked up the "helter skelter" angle (sans cryptocratic brainwashing, natch) and went to court (and then the bank) with it. (The album-cover clues pointing to Paul's death came into the American public consciousness in the fall of 1969, after the 'Manson' murders but before Bugliosi's prosecution.)

Thus Paul's plan was ultimately diverted. Perverted, too. Instead of exposing occultic brainwashing, the faux Paul was used to perpetuate such brainwashing. The dissociative state of the masses is only worsened by seeing the clues right in front of them while continuing to 'believe' Paul and the doppelganger are the same man. McCartney's radical plan to raise the consciousness of the masses was usurped by faux PAUL's silly love songs which serve to dumb them down.

(AP) Jan. 7:

RIVERHEAD, N.Y., - A retiree who fatally shot a man in the face during an initiation ceremony at a Long Island Masonic lodge pleaded guilty on Friday to criminally negligent homicide and was sentenced to five years' probation.

The retiree, Albert Eid, 77, a trustee and past master of South Side Lodge 493 in Patchogue, the site of the shooting, told a judge in Suffolk County Criminal Court that he was sorry for shooting William James. "William was my friend, and it's terrible," he said.

Mr. James, 47, of Medford was fatally shot on March 8, while participating in an initiation ceremony at a Masonic social club called Fellow Craft in the basement of the Patchogue lodge.

In 1933 Past Master Alfred Dodd published a book that purported to contain evidence linking William Shakespeare with the creation of Freemasonry, an international secret society built around an interest in esoteric knowledge, including the ancient art of alchemy. In the book, Shakespeare: Creator of Freemasonry, Dodd focuses on the Masonic symbolism in two plays, Love's Labours Lost and The Tempest. Except for two brief references he ignores Macbeth, an indispensable play in establishing Shakespeare's ties to Freemasonry. The entire play appears to have been written as an allegory for the bloody murder of Hiram Abiff, the core figure of Masonic ritual.

Upon reaching the third degree the Masonic initiate is led through the mock ritual killing of Hiram Abiff, one of three original Grand Masters of Freemasonry.

Macbeth can easily be viewed as a mingling of these forces. He is a bundle of paradoxes: nobleman and murderer, murderer and coward, coward and warrior. Haunted by the witches' prophecy that Banquo would be "father to a line of Kings," Macbeth hires a pair of assassins to exterminate Banquo and his son Fleance. In the following scene, this pair mysteriously transforms into a trio. To the uninitiated this might seem like a discrepancy. However, after all the evidence presented so far it becomes obvious that Shakespeare is purposely waving a red flag in order to attract the reader's attention to this "irrelevant" detail. For the Bard's "fellows" it would have been immediately obvious that the three assassins were to be associated with Jubela, Jubelo, and Jubelum. Certainly it's no coincidence that the assassins kill Banquo in Act Three, Scene Three.

The idea of Shakespeare having been a Freemason will probably be a controversial theory to literary scholars, but then again anything not generally known since before the Cretaceous Period is controversial to literary scholars. Meanwhile, most mainstream historians believe that Freemasonry was founded in 1717, long after Shakespeare's death. Other, more esoteric authors trace the origins of the Brotherhood all the way back to Ancient Egypt. True or not, neither theory erases the fact that obvious Masonic symbolism is woven into the tragedy of Macbeth, written over a hundred years before traditional history says that such symbolism ever existed.

Athens plays host to the Olympic games this year, and, per usual, the opening ceremony of the games will feature a veritable phantasmagoria of occultic imagery and arcane allegory, including a mock birth of the Antichrist, massive Masonic Arches, and an arena designed to symbolize the ancient fertility symbol. Just briefly perusing some of the photos and coverage of the ceremony, I could scarcely keep track of it all, so this post is only meant to be an informal interpretation of the symbolism employed. Feel free to augment this list accordingly...

First off, take note of the date and time under which the ceremony commenced--- Friday the 13th at 19:45 Central European Time. On Friday, October the 13th, the Knights Templar were arrested and imprisoned (many burned at the stake) on the orders of King Phillip IV and Pope Clement V. It's then no wonder that the elite would want to inaugurate their games on this immemorial day.

To my mind this would appear to be a metaphorical representation of the Great Work-- the establishment of a One World Order. The actors with illuminated batons seemingly symbolic of the nations loyal to the cause.






The olympic rings aflame, a Nazi icon specifically designed for the games (along with the torch of illumination), which they regarded as a celebration of the Third Reich. The blazing rings are topped by a luminous arch. Take special note of the prevalence of arches (a supremely important symbol in Masonic doctrine) in the ceremony.



The woman with the luminous womb would appear to symbolize the birth of the Antichrist, or the Child of Light, a being heralded by the mystery religions for ages as the secret saviour of mankind. The fact that this archetypal feminine is standing in a pool of water is of no mean significance. The water represents the Age of Aquarius, or the Kingdom of the Antichrist In this respect, it is also worth mentioning the numerous connections between the alleged Merovingian dynasty and the sea-creature of ancient lore, sometimes identified with Nimrod the king of Babylon, from which they claim descent. I see this ritual as representing the birth of the Antichrist out of the Age of Aquarius.

Observation found on American Patriot Friends Network May 12, 2004 :

Both Drudge and Aljazeera report that "??A body found on Monday by US military patrol along a roadside over the weekend was identified as Berg's."

Note the confused reporting in this direct quote, "on Monday", "over the weekend", by US military patrol. Was it found on Monday or over the weekend--which one? Does this make sense to anyone? Or was someone scrambling a press release (in panic) of wording that was hastily contrived, and uncertain themselves about how the facts would compare to the report. VAGUE TIMING BEGS THE QUESTION, WHEN WAS THIS BODY REALLY FOUND?...

The video was dated May 11th, typical Judeo-Masonic (CIA/MOSSAD) signature and M.O., like 9/11, and the recent 3/11 in Spain. Sorry, there is an M.O. to this "terrorism" that matches that of government psy-ops! Funny how they never mention the obvious pattern of dating isn't it? And the "terroists" signed his name to the video, though they wore hoods and masks! (Why?)



Berg's father filed law suit against the illegal detention of their son....and, bingo, he was released the next day (but not very popular we can be certain)!

The Guatanamo Bay type US issue prison suit is very suspicious! Either he was handed over to the alleged "terrorists" in it--meaning US forces complicity to rid them of an American "dissident"--or the executions are Government--i.e. CIA (well-fed, lily white hands, hooded...but leaving the name of the executioner?)!



According to the video clock notations in the film, the "execution" took place between 13:46 and 13:47....apparently around 1:46 to 1:47 pm. Why is the video time not in Arabic? Do Arabs use military time?




"God is great".....typical propaganda to libel militant Muslim jihaders with the crime, while they have lily white hands, their victim in US issue prison clothes, and video time in US military English!



The TIMING of this event being reported to the American public, on May 11th evening (note how quickly this went to full-blown news coverage by 6:30pm EDT on the very day of the execution......fast......and conveniently. Even MORE remarkable is how this was reported to Congress (not sure when) during WORK HOURS IN SESSION, precisely as the Pentagon, Rumsfeld, etc., were being grilled, and Senators were investigation the horrific prisoner abuse, and who was behind it! TALK ABOUT WELL-COORDINATED AND EXPEDITED 1) EXECUTION 2) BODY FOUND, IDENTIFIED, 3)NOTIFICATION OF KIN, 4) REPORTED TO CONGRESS...5) RELEASE IN FULL DETAIL WITH VIDEO TO NETWORK NEWS..........ALL IN ONE AMAZING DAY!!!!!

Is that a credible timetable WITHOUT government involvement? The 9/11 "hijackers" were not even identified for a couple days....but this one is instantly solved, and we are expected to swallow it whole without choking!

A US-registered cargo plane loaded with 64 "mercernaries" and various military equipment was impounded Sunday night at Harare International Airport in Zimbabwe "after its owners had made a false declaration of its cargo and crew."

When asked about it on Monday, State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said "We have no indication this aircraft is connected to the U.S. government."

Now, if you look at the press accounts, what's caught people's attention is the US registry of the plane. Specifically, it's registered to a company called Dodson Aviation, which is based in Kansas.

[Dodson] has a South African subsidiary Dodson International Parts SA Ltd (According to their website, "Dodson International Parts SA (Pty) Ltd is the African division of United States based companies Dodson International Parts Inc. and Dodson Aviation. The company was established in 1998 and is based at Wonderboom Airport, Pretoria.") And it was from this subsidiary's hangar at an airport just north of Pretoria that the aforementioned mercenaries boarded the plane.
